#MAQuest Charity Queen 2014
Kim Cancellier

MAQuest Mrs Charity Queen, Kim Cancellier represented Australia and won the International Crown for Mrs Global United 2014.

“In July 2014, via the Mrs Australia Quest, I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the Global United Pageant World Finals in Minnesota USA.

At the event we competed on stage in our national costumes, personality wear and in our evening gowns. In addition to this we were also required to take part in an interview setting in front of a panel of judges.

The women I met at the Global United pageant were more like friends than competitors though which made this a thoroughly enjoying experience all round.

To add to the fortune i had of simply being able to represent Australia I was blessed enough to have taken out the world title of 'Mrs Global United 2014'

Raising awareness for Kids with Cancer, we attended the local children's hospital where we enjoyed an afternoon of arts and crafts with some of the patients! Seeing their smiles and hearing their laughs helped to motivate me even further by continuing the work i have been doing back home with the Children's Hospital at Westmead.

You don't know courage until you meet a child battling cancer.

The Global United pageant system, much like the Mrs Australia Quest, truly believes in the platform in which it is based off and the director, Wendy, is a woman to be admired. Her dedication and drive to help kids in need is inspirational and i can not wait to return to Minnesota next year to crown the next 'Mrs Global United’.”

Made page 4 of the Chemo Chronicle! It may not be a national paper or magazine but the chronicle has more substance and depth than any 'telegraph' or woman's day / new idea magazine I've ever read. I feel very honored to have had a mention. Special thanks to Aimee and Francesca (from the Childrens hospital) for everything!

On the 16th of December myself along with Lisa Ciappara (mrs woodcroft) will be attending the children's hospital to hand out toys at the day clinic! As it always is, I'm sure this will be another emotional and rewarding experience. The children (and families) battling cancer are truly amazing, strong and courageous people. These are the people that inspire me.

The winner of this title will attend the Global United Pageant in the category that they qualify.  Please note that if you have already won a title in another section i.e. Mrs Australia World you cannot attend the world final for this as well and a substitute prize of recognition will be awarded to you for your efforts.
The MAQuest chose this wonderful world pageant for our ladies to attend as it exemplified what the MAQuest stands for and that is the Beauty on the inside.  The world Director Wendy Lindberg is an amazing lady who has given of herself to charity and has put together a pageant like no other.

Mrs/Ms/Miss Global United is held in Minnesota USA in July each year and our title holder of the Charity Queen Australia - Global United will proudly represent Australia and our cause ovarian cancer awareness at this world level.
