Miss International Australia is a sister pageant To the MAQuest. All 2017 national finalists will receive 50% redemption voucher valid till November 2017 to join the 2018 MAQuest.
The National Final for Miss International Australia 2017 will be held on Saturday 9th September 2017 at East Cessnock Bowling Club. Crowning of the Titles of Miss International Australia - (winner) and Miss Hope International Australia - (Highest Popularity Votes.) All National Finalists will be considered for other world competition opportunities that the MAQuest are the national directors for.
Entry Fee: Entry into Pageant is $395 and includes accommodation and meals as outlined.
All Entrants will receive a 50% redemption discount voucher for entry into the 2018 MAQuest/QBP National Final if entered by the 1st November 2017. (please note does not include accommodation to the MAQuest 2018). The proposed dates for this pageant is End of April 2018.
Shared Accommodation for 2 nights is included in entry fee if entrants application is received by 3rd September. Entrants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from National Final Venue for the Pageant.
Recommended Airports to arrive are:
Newcastle Airport Port Stephens. Then entrants are to organise own shuttle bus transport to the Host Hotel at Cessnock Vintage Motor Inn.
Sydney Airport Then entrants are to organise own shuttle bus transport to the Host Hotel at Cessnock Vintage Motor Inn.
Travel will be provided for entrants from Hotel to Host Venue on Friday 8th September and return to Hotel that Evening.
Travel will be provided on Saturday Morning from Hotel to Venue. Entrants departing during Free Time will be responsible for their own travel back to the Venue for commencement of the Ball & Pageant. Entrants are responsible for their own travel after completion of Ball & Pageant.
Overall Schedule Outline:
Friday 8th September 2017 - Official Welcoming and Orientation. Time to be reconfirmed proposed schedule is 2pm at Host Venue: East Cessnock Bowling Club Neath St Cessnock NSW. All Activities for this day will take place at the host venue.
Friday Evening: Dinner, rehersals and activities.
Saturday Morning - Light Breakfast Provided. Photoshoot Rehearsals.
Free Time for Preparation - Entrants will be given free time to prepare for pageant from 2pm on the Saturday Afternoon.
Arrival at Host Venue- All Entrants are to be present at Host Venue for Pre Ball Photos at Photowall by 6pm. (Pls note this is compulsory and will form part of judging.)
6.30pm - Arrival of guests to Ball.
Saturday Evening - Entry into the National Final and Be Beautiful Ball. (food platters will be provided for entrants back stage during event. Pls note national finalists are not guests of the ball until after the crowning takes place and must remain backstage until official crowning is completed.
After Crowning Entrants can participate in the After Party Celebration which will form part of the Be Beautiful Ball and for Phototaking.
Please note it is compulsory for all winners to participate in photoshoot after the crowning they are not to join ball until official photos are completed.

Promotion, Activity & Effort 15% (This will include presence on Social Media, Promotion of the #CareCallConnectCampaign, Promotion of Ovarian Cancer Awareness, Support to Teal Wings of Hope Charity, Appearances (this includes online, radio, events, television, etc.) A submission of Activity will need to be submitted for judging on arrival to National Final. Bonus points to for Tickets Sold to the Final Ball will form part of this score.
Please Note: A Bonus point will be awarded for every ticket sold to attend the Be Beautiful Ball National FInal up to a maximum of 10 points for a full table and will form part of the score for Activity & Promotion.

MISS INTERNATIONAL 2014 world final was held in Tokyo, Japan. Miss International Australia 2014, Bridgette Rose Taylor competed from the 29th of October- 11th of November. Bridgette has been an amazing representative not only for Australia and young women she helped spread the word of awareness for ovarian cancer and supported Teal Wings of Hope.
Miss International’s mission; the realization of world peace through mutual understanding. Their charity is also “Miss International Fund" which donates money to underprivileged children around the world, through Unicef and other charity institutions.

Outline for National Finalists.
5.45pm - All National FInalist must be at Host Venue East Cessnock Bowling Club for Roll Call in full makeup and hair and cocktail dress.
6pm - Photoshoot at the official photowall with sponsors, judges and special guests
6.30pm - All National Finalists are to be back stage and are not allowed to leave this area until completion of pageant.
6.30pm - 6.45pm Arrival and seating of guests to the Ball.
6.45pm - Welcoming by MC, Introduction of Judges Etc.
7.15pm - Swimsuit Judging, Introduction Judging
8.30pm - Formal Wear Judging
9.30/10pm - Official Crowning.
10.30pm - 11.30pm Afterparty at Ball.
Please note winners, placegetters, special award winners, must attend photoshoot after crowning with sponsors, judges, and special guests. This is compulsory and failure to attend photoshoot could lead to loss of title or award. All winners and placegetters must attend photoshoot on Sunday 10th September.
Titles To Be Crowned;
The winner will be crowned Miss International Australia and will represent Australia at the Miss International world final in Japan to compete alongside 80 other countries from across the globe in Oct 2017. There will also be 1st Runnerup and 2nd Runnerup place getters.
The National Finalist with the most online voting will be awarded the title of Miss Hope International Australia and will Australia at the world final for Miss Hope International in South Africa in Jan 2018.
All national finalists will be considered for other world title opportunities that the MAQuest and will be offered to suitable national finalists after the completion of the National Final.
